The issues of climate change, food security and resilience are critical to the sustainability of countries of the Global South. These issues require the urgent attention of academic researchers, governments, private sector and non-governmental organisations. In order to focus attention on these overlapping themes, a workshop was organized to bring together participants from all sectors in Jamaica. The workshop took place at the Knutsford Court Hotel, Kingston, Jamaica, April 14-16, 2015.Two days were devoted to presentations and discussion and one day spent in the field in an area where small farmers are affected by the increased drought conditions associated with climate change.
